For more than twenty years, Jeff Kamikow has been a fixture in the advertising industry. He has worn many hats and served in many different capacities, but he has always had an eye and an ear for the latest trends and developments in the advertising industry. His roles in the media and advertising industry include those in print, early digital, mixed media, and mobile.
Jeffrey Kamikow began his career in media at PCMag after he graduated from Southern Illinois University. He started out as an account executive and almost immediately moved up the ranks. He would eventually become the Corporate Sales Director for the East Coast Market.
In 2002, Jeff Kamikow left PC Mag and become a publisher for a technology trade magazine. However, he quickly started to realize that the industry was moving towards the digital medium. He took on the role of National Advertising Director for Time Inc’s Field & Stream and Outdoor Life Magazine, and he was able to bring in millions in new revenue by adopting a strong and sustainable digital marketing strategy.
However, in 2006, Jeff Kamikow decided that he wanted to move away from publishing, and he became the Vice President of Sales at Pulse 360. He helped to turn the digital marketing firm around, and the company had annual revenue of $55 million per year by the time he left.
In 2011, Jeffrey Kamikow went into mobile marketing and has served in several capacities. He first started at Verve Mobile and later accepted leadership roles at Lyfe Mobile and BlinkX. Toda, he oversees revenue and brand strategy for GO2mobi. He is also the chief operator of his own consulting firm, Kamikow Media Group.
